Robert H. “Mike” Hoffman, Jr., 81 of Northampton passed away at home on February 17, 2022.

Husband of  Diane M. (Kressley) Hoffman for 49 years until she passed on June 14, 2013.

Bob was born in Allentown on July 18, 1940 son of the late Robert H.  and Doris (Emery) Hoffman, Sr.

He was an automotive parts salesman for over 50 years.

Bob served in the US Marine Corp, a life member of Lehigh Valley Marine Corps League Detachment 296 and was named the 2018 Detachment Marine of the Year; member of the Emmaus Veterans Committee, Emmaus American Legion Post 191, Emmaus Catholic War Veterans  and volunteered with ProMedica Hospice to ensure “No one dies alone.”

Bob was a member of the former Grace Lutheran Church in Allentown serving as President and Co-Vice-President, active in numerous committees of the church including the building and worship committee.

Survivors: Grandchildren Ashley Troxell and Christopher Hechler (Lauren), great-grandsons Ryan Jacob and Kolton Michael; daughter in law Kimberly Troxell; brother Robert H. Hoffman, III and  a sister Cheryl.  Predeceased by a daughter Christine A. Hoffman and a son Michael R. Hoffman.

Viewing & Service:  Thursday February 24, 2022 viewing 10AM to 11AM followed by the Funeral Service at 11AM at the Sell-Herron Funeral Home 1145 Lehigh Street Allentown, PA  18104.   Burial with Military Honors to follow at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery in Allentown. www.Herronfuneralhomes.com
